Laura is a Family Lawyer, who has been specialising in Family Law since 2009, and jointly heads the Family Law Department with Claire Tennant. Prior to establishing the Family Law Team with Emin Read in 2018, Laura worked with high street and regional law firms, gaining valuable experience and a strong reputation in a very wide range of family matters, from domestic violence, to nuptial and cohabitation agreements, to breakdown of relationships and the various ways in which clients can choose to deal with their interests.
Laura is also a qualified court Advocate, and a Family Mediator, and draws these elements and skills to her work, helping her to guide clients through the various options in ways that things can be resolved. She enjoys a varied practice, building strong relationships with clients to identify their aims and objectives, and the way in which they want to achieve a resolution. She prides herself on providing them with honest and realistic advice which works for her clients practically, and being committed to reaching a swift, positive outcome for them and their families.
