After completing my training contract in a small boutique firm in London and qualifying in 2008, I started my career as an Associate Solicitor at a large regional firm specialising in Civil and Commercial litigation as well as dealing with contested probate matters. I acted as legal counsel for a well-known beauty company dealing with commercial contracts including distribution and franchise agreements. In 2011, I was promoted to Commercial Team Leader managing the commercial teams across its offices in the UK before moving to Hong Kong in 2014 with my family.
During my time in Hong Kong, I worked in several local firms and shortly thereafter moved to a Canadian law firm in 2015 where I was employed as a Senior Associate. I was predominantly catering to expat clients assisting in private client matters including investment immigration as well as acting as legal counsel for our company clients dealing with commercial contracts, distribution agreements and NDAs before moving back to the UK in 2021.
After a short break I joined Emin Read as a consultant dealing with their litigation matters.
